The Tzol'kin Karma Karwash sacred walk is a means for all to achieve purity, energy and self-actualization. It can also be used for meditation like a mandala. This symbol is derived from a more simplistic form of the Karma Karwash that has been performed up until the mid 90's at Rainbow Family Gatherings. (See Rainbow Dictionary) This ceremony has been practically forgotten by almost everyone. Over the last 4 years I, Brother Brian Love, have extended this concept into the geometric form depicted above. This process has 4 fundamental steps: Karma Wash, Energy Boost, Open and Position. These are noted numerically on the diagram.

1) Karma Karwash: The form begins as two circles which break at the diagonals to form each in-out spiral. As this spiral moves each individual have the opportunity to work with every other person, verbally or by other means, to clear out issues of Karma. It is the sole duty of the person holding the center position to choose when to step forward. This choice will subconsciously guide the movement of the spiral. Every person will have the opportunity of holding this position and everyone's timing will guide the entire form. If a person in the center receives positive acknowledgement from EVERYONE in their spiral then they may move into the Light Highway for the next step, the Energy Boost.

2) Energy Boost: Lines are formed by our highest brothers and sisters, those that required the least cleansing. These parallel lines become a path for those that leave the spiral. The individuals that form the lines are obligated to boost the ones passing though by any means possible.

3) Open / Awaken: An opening spiral will be imbued into the earth at the center gates of the main circle. When one arrives into this position, they are to stand still until the have achieved a full understanding of their fundamental purpose and their eye completely opened. Then four having required the same cleansing needs will meet in the center at an altar (or shrine), hold hands and give praise. The people will then separate and move outward along the diagonals.

4) Take your Position: Haven awoken to our galactic identity the four take position in the outer circle. They form a square and in this way maintain their connection. The outer circle is formed clockwise from each of the diagonals.

5) Galactic Butterfly: After the spirals have cleared the highway folds in (like a line dance) in pairs of individuals. They Open and Awaken together and move across instead of diagonally. They are our anchors and they take position in the final circle.

Finally, we all hold hands and ohm. Then, the circle break and the pairs of two separate to congregate

The form after the karma wash portion is complete is that of the Galactic Butterfly. It is my understanding that the spirals in the center of the Butterfly, having rounded lines and edged lines, infer another dimension. In this way the open symbol fulfills this representation, since we are being lifted to a higher state of consciousness in steps 2 and 3.

The spirals will be intoned from outside with Didjeridu as well as the open symbol. The heart is the F tone having one F for the physical body and the octave for the spiritual body. The outer circle will part at The Doorway diagonal and we will leave in pairs from both directions.
